Fr 2E50F.2a Second Issue 50¢ Experimental Fractional with Bold "DC" overstamp meant for a Washington DC bond. This is an extremely rare note with very few others in existence. There are a few that have full notes but the others are cut short such as this one is. This note is graded Uncirculated 60 by PCGS due to the cut off but make no mistake this is completely a GEM Experimental Fractional. it has great embossing and is missing the "O" overprint with the "DC" over print in its place. These notes are simply not for sale to the general public in any other setting but an auction. This is one of the very few public offerings to the average collector.
